The business has commented as below on the inspection of 2nd April 2024.
"Sadly this rating arose due to owners and staff long term absence and illness. This has now been resolved and the following remedial works have been undertaken.
Deep clean of all kitchen and storage areas and cleaning schedules revised.
Kitchen area repainted.
Staff retrained in essential food safety procedures.
Processes put in place for recording detail on homemade pickles and chutneys.
Food storage reorganised.
PAT testing completed.
Professional clean of extraction system completed.
Re-inspection by EHO requested as soon as possible."
